DIY Pom-Pom Wall Hanging

Hi everyone! It's Maanvi, today I am going to be showing you how to make a pom-pom wall hanging step by step. This DIY was so fun to do and will make your house more colorful! Now let's begin!

Materials

-Yarn(at least 2 colors)

- Scissors

- Stick

- Transparent String(thin)

- Thick String

- Needle

- Pushpin

Step 1:

The first step is to get 2 colors of yarn. The colors can be any color of your choice.

Step 2:

This next step is the most fun step of this DIY. In this step, you are going to be making DIY yarn pom-poms. If you do not know how to make yarn pom-poms, watch this video~https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daJyhdIEJ1s.You can make the pom-poms any size you want.

Step 3:

This step is about planning. In this step, it's good if you plan out how you want to arrange the pom-poms. You can arrange them in any order you want.

Step 4:

This step is all about arranging the pom-poms. The first thing you need to do is string the pom-poms onto a transparent string with a needle. To string the pom-poms you need to put the transparent string through the needle, and then poke the needle through the pom-pom. You can string the pom poms on in any order.

Step 5:

You will be needing a stick of any size you like. If you want to make a big wall hanging you will be needing a large stick. But, if you want to make a small one you need a small stick. Once you decide you can move onto the next step.

Step 6:

In this step, all you are going to be doing is tieing on the strings of pom-poms to the stick.

Step 7:

This is the final step. And in this step, you are going to be taking a thick string and tieing it to the stick(this is so that you can hang it on a wall).

When you are done tieing the string to the stick then the last part is to hang it up on a wall. This wall hanging will make any boring wall look colorful and bright.

My trip to the Halebidu Temple

Hi everyone! It's Maanvi and today I am going to be writing about a place in India I went to a couple of years ago. I started missing India so I decided to write a post about a place in India I loved going to! My family and I usually go to India every year, but because of COVID 19, we didn't go last year. It's almost been 2 years since we went to India :(. Now let's Begin!

Today we are going to talk about The Halebidu temple also known as The Hoysaleshwara Temple. The Halebidu temple is a temple located in Belur, Karnataka. The temple is a 12-century Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva(the god of destruction). The Halebidu temple is filled with carvings depicting scenes from Hindu mythology alongside animals and birds. The fine detail in work can show a story or scene from Hindu mythology come to life. The detail in the work can help you visualize the story of what the carvings are telling you.

The carvings are beautiful and depict many Hindu gods and goddesses. They also represent important animals or symbols of gods and goddesses. Each carving has its own importance and own story to it. For example, the carvings of gods at the temple mainly depict scenes from epic Hindu stories such as the Mahabarata and Ramayana. If you look at the carvings closely you can see that they are depicting a story. The Halebidu temple is full of beautiful carvings and epic Hindu stories.

When I went to the temple I was amazed by the carvings and stories they tell. I never knew you can learn so much from carvings. Only until I went there I learned that you should always look at even small things closely. Make sure you go visit it the next time you go to India!
