Village Life

Hi everyone, It's Maanvi! A couple of days ago I went to see my grandma's brothers' houses. It was an exciting trip because it was a huge change going to a village from a big city. They live in a small village so it was fun going there and seeing many new things. Life there was peaceful because it was very quiet and relaxing compared to a big city. I also got to see acres of coconut trees and many animals. I got to see silkworms, cows, chickens, and many more animals. The thing I found most interesting was to see the workers take out the silkworm cocoons. The workers take them out of a Chandrike/Chandrika(mountage) and then take them to a market to sell them. They also told me that the silkworms would come out of the cacoon after a couple of days. There were also many trees and we got fresh bananas. Overall, it was nice to experience something different and a nice change of place. I had a lot of fun, and there was also nice weather which you hardly find in a big city. I would love to go back there, and totally recommend you visit a village nearby to see how different life is there. Here are some pictures I took while I was there.

My Traveling Experience after 3 Years

Hi everyone! It's Maanvi, Today I am going to be talking about my flight experience while flying to India. I recently took a flight from SFO to India, so I am going to be sharing my experience flying on a plane during the covid and omicron variant. To be honest it wasn't very different except for the fact you had to wear a mask. There was also no covid testing at the airport, but they did check your temperature before you board the flight. On the flight, they offered free hand sanitizers and face shields. The flight experience wasn't super different than how it was 3 years ago. It has changed a little bit, but not very much. I would also recommend taking a covid test after reaching your destination, just in case you contracted covid. Overall, I enjoyed the traveling experience even though it might have been different. It was nice experiencing something different than the last time I went on a flight. I hope this helps you get some information on what to expect while flying on a plane nowadays. If you plan on flying on a plane anytime soon I would recommend being ready to expect all of these changes.

Almond Blossoms

Hi everyone, It's Maanvi. Yesterday my family and I went to look at almond blossoms. We went to a farm and it was filled with rows of almond trees. All of the trees had beautiful white flowers on them, and they smelled amazing. The pictures we took came out great and we all had a fun time. It felt really nice to be in such a pretty and calming environment. I would totally recommend going and checking it out. It is definitely worth it and you will not want to leave!
