So, this post is really different because, first of all it is fictional. Secondly, it is heart touching and emotional(Made my mom cry after I read it to her):). Lastly, I took real life things that could happen to make this story. SO ENJOY! "Some of the events in the story are real events that happened to me"

Hi everyone, It's me Maanvi Keremane back with another post. Enjoy the story! CHANGES

by:Maanvi K. On a dark & cold winter night a new birth had just arrived. Mama rejoiced and cried. While dad, was holding my new baby sister. I Kennedy the oldest daughter of the Simpson Family, was sitting on a chair close to Mama. Mom held my hand and asked me what was wrong. I answered "Well, I am a little worried since the new baby came, you will not spend a lot of time with me like the olden days". Mom said to me, "Kennedy even though I will spend more time with the baby, doesn't mean I don't love you". After that hearing Mama's comforting words & having a one-on-one talk with her, I felt much better. As I watched my new sister smile in my dad's hands, I thought of a cute name for her. "Joyce" I thought to myself. I really wanted to name her that so, I asked my parents to see if they liked the name. They said, "The name choice is up to you for your sister". Since, they said I could name her whatever I want, I named her Joyce. And that is how my life changed because of Joyce.

Joyce got discharged from the hospital early because she wasn't a premature baby like me. As soon as Joyce got home, the whole family had tears in their eyes. Even I did, because we were all so happy and relieved that she had came home! As Joyce grew older we started to become best friends. We would everything together except...going to sleepovers, hanging out with friends, and much more. Other than the things we did with our friends, we would do everything else together! One bright summer morning, Joyce asked me " Kennedy, will you forget me when we are older". I said, "Joyce, of course I could never forget you"! I also told her, " Joyce, we should never think about the future we should live and be happy in that moment." After I said that to Joyce she felt much better and never thought about the future after that. All of a sudden we heard our mom calling us, " Kennedy, Joyce come to the back yard I have a surprise for you". As soon as Me and Joyce heard the word "Surprise" we ran to the backyard as fast as we could.

When we went to the backyard mom was holding an unfamiliar box in her hands. We asked her, "What is in that box." All she said was, "open the box and you'll see." So we both, opened the box and to our surprise a dog jumps right at us! It was like those little windy box toys and then after spinning it for a while suddenly something just pops up out of the box. The moment was scary and joyful. After petting him for a while, we were like "wait...we never thought of a name for him." As soon as we both said that, a fight started between us. The fight felt like World War 2 right in front of us! At last, it came to an end and we thought of the name "Zach". We always cherished that memorie as soon as we saw him. It was epic that would happen when we saw him! From that day on, Zach made every moment special in the Simpson Family!                                                                                                                                                -Maanvi
