Hi, it's me Maanvi Keremane! I am back with a new post specifically about some of the stories/letters I wrote! I am guessing the title might have made you wonder "What does she mean" and made you have other confusing thoughts! Well, I am going to give you a brief introduction to what this whole project was about. And yes, this was a school project I did! Technically, this is only one part of the project I did at school. What I mean is, the project had many things attached to it in order to do it. LOOK BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION!
HONORED TO BE ELLA BAKER!

First we had to write a report about a famous African American Hero. My heros name was ELLA BAKER(Ella Josephine Baker). Then, we had to do a speech based on what we wrote in the report. After, we had to make artifacts(to place in a table in-front of us when we present). We had to present in our school Multipurpose room(M.P.R.). And our whole class had to choose a African-American hero, and then when people came to our station they had to press a paper sticker that said (press here). And as soon as they pressed the button we would come to life. What I mean is we would choose a pose, and then as soon as they pressed the button we would say our speech!Next, we had to dress up as them and present our speech, to other people(people=people from our school and our parents). And last but not least, we had to mail a letter an organization they were involved in, or to our person directly(if they were still alive!) Basically, in this blog I am giving you guys a link to visit the letter I wrote to the...I wrote the letter to this organization because my person was not still alive.
(I WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN MY CLASS WHO GOT A LETTER BACK FROM THE ORGANIZATION! LOOK AT THE IMAGES BELOW TO SEE WHAT WAS IN THE ENVELOPE!)
